I read and re-read on multiple reviews of this product before buying! I couldn't find one that used this as an actual router instead of a extender. Let me tell you this is an superb router! Worth every penny. I was going to "hide" the router like we normally do. It sits in our living room. Instead I put it to weather mode. It says the temp outside, you can also do clock. But, that turns out to be really nice to see. It isn't ugly like most routers. My only issue with it. The ports are on the side. So if you want to see the tempture or clock. You see the ugly old wires sticking out of the right side. If they would have put them on the side opposite the screen that would have so much nicer looking.
